Talk It Over
Purposes: Paul's Ministry
Hey parents! Use these questions as a guide to talk over this week’s Bible story, Paul’s Ministry, with your child after they’ve watched this week’s Church at Home early childhood video. Remember that we were made to share about God with others!
- What was your favorite part of the video we just watched?
- God made you with a purpose. What special purpose did we learn about today that God made us for?
He made us to share about him with others! - What did we learn the purpose share means?
It means telling other people about the good things God does. One of the greatest people we can share about is Jesus. - In today’s Bible story, who did a good job sharing about God with others?
Paul! Once Paul heard the truth about Jesus and made the choice to follow him, he went all over telling everyone about God and the good news about Jesus. - What are some things Bestos and Jerry taught us about our purpose to share?
When we learn about the good things God does for us, we can tell others about those things. We can share about God with others by telling people that God loves them, sharing the things we learn at church or from a Bible story, writing a note or drawing a picture that tells people about God, inviting someone to come to church (or watch church online), and by telling them the good things God does.
Pray with your child about the things you learned together today! You might pray something like this: Dear God, thank you for loving me and making me for a special purpose. I want to share about you with everyone so they can know you love them and have good plans for them. Help me think of someone who needs your love and tell them about you this week! Amen
