Hey parents! This week your child learned about Gentleness, which is a Fruit of the Spirit. They heard the Bible story of Paul and Barnabas, too! Use these questions as a guide to talk over this week’s lesson after they’ve watched the video service!
- What was your favorite part of the video we just watched?
- In the Bible story, who became Paul's friend? Barnabas
- Why was everyone but Barnabas afraid of Paul? Because Paul had been previously chasing Christians.
- How does Barnabas befriending Paul show Gentleness? After Paul became a Christian, other Christians were still afraid of him. Barnabas showed gentleness to Paul when he befriended him and showed everyone that paul had changed.
- What did Paul and Barnabas do together? They traveled together and told people about Jesus.
- What is gentleness? Being kind and compassionate to others.
