The Short Story:
The story of Laundry Love began with T-Bone, a homeless gentleman living in Ventura Calif. In one particular conversation, a question was asked of him: “T-Bone, how can we come alongside your life in a way that would matter?” His response was honest and practical. “If I had clean clothes I think people would treat me like a human being.”
T-Bone’s story reminds us that God created every human being and that each one of them has tremendous worth, value and is LOVED by God. Welcome to Mill City Christian Church Laundry Love.
On the second and fourth Wednesday of every month from 6PM to 8PM we meet at “Mill City Wash ‘n Dry Laundromate” and help to wash the clothes and bedding of individuals and/or families living in poverty. From the infant to the aged, and across a broad spectrum of ethnicity, culture and personal story, Mill City Christian Church seeks to nurture the well being of each person through intentional relationships and spreading of God’s word.
If you need assistance or would just like to get involved, please come on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm to the Laundrymate or email us at Office@MillCityCC.com.
