Hello, Mill City Christian Church! (Dec 23rd-2th)
I trust your Christmas was truly special this December! Here in Guerrero, the hand of God is moving powerfully, evidenced by our impactful mission to the mountains on Friday, December 29th. Our destination was a small town where the native dialect of Spanish Nawhata was spoken.
We were blessed to preach to a gathering of over 200 children, 40-50 mothers, and several young adults. Witnessing the sheer joy on the children’s faces as they received simple yet meaningful gifts like toy balls and candy was incredibly heartening. The mothers were grateful for care bags, shoes, and clothing, and their astonishment at receiving these gifts from strangers resonated deeply within the community. It was moving for them to realize that individuals from afar would take time to share both gifts and a heartfelt message with them.
Continuing our efforts from last week, we engaged in soul-winning today, as we do every Saturday. Once again, the result was profound: two souls found salvation. Among them was a teenage girl and a young Jehovah’s Witness boy. These moments of spiritual transformation remind us of the profound impact of outreach and connection.
