As I watch my children go through their daily routines, oblivious to the onslaught of the Russian invasion into Ukraine, I am thankful that the war is not here, and I pray for children and families, who are made in God's image, as they face an escalating war that is driven by paranoia and insecurity. I pray that God will work in Putin's heart, that Putin will repent, and that Putin will withdraw his invasion.
If you're worried about our Christian brothers and sisters in Ukraine, then I invite you to join us in prayer, online and in person, tomorrow at 9:00AM (online and over the phone) and 1:00PM (in-person). https://millcitycc.com/prayer
If you would like to give to the relief efforts, then I encourage you to partner with Samaritan Purse as they have deployed members of their Disaster Assistance Response Team to surrounding countries and are standing ready to help meet emergency needs resulting from the crisis. https://www.samaritanspurse.org/donation-items/responding-to-the-crisis-in-ukraine/
